my budget is about $900 so is might be a tough one i was looking getting a Rega Apollo but is their anything else out there like this one

If you are not looking for SACD or DVD-A capability, you might consider the Jolida JD 100A. It is a tube player and certainly within your budget. Furthermore, for $900 you could probably not only get the CDP but some Mullard or Telefunken NOS tubes and swap out the stock tubes. Various mods are also available through underwoodhifi.com or responseaudio.com.
