Name that tune.

Okay, I've googled 'til the cows came home, with no results, and it is driving me nuts.
I'm trying to find the artist and/or the name of a song.

It's a hard rock song, about 1985 +/- 5 years.
It has growling guitar licks, perfect for my wake-up music.

A few of the scattered lyrics are:

With that MINIMAL information, if anyone can provide any information,
I can guarantee good things will happen !!

Bad news is: Limewired "Shotdown" and downloaded 4 versions: all had viruses. :o

Went to Amazon.com, found ONE source for April Wine's album,
"The Whole World's Goin' Crazy" that has the song, "Shotdown".

$50.00 !!

Thanks for getting me in the ballpark; guess I'll just have to keep waking up to "Thunderstruck" by AC/DC for a while.

Glad that was it. Have you tried i-tunes. You might be able to download the song for .99 and burn it to a cd.
