Flyboys was just released on blu-ray and it's a great movie to kick back in the HT and have a few beers with.
The PQ seems flawless, no doubt helped by a big heaping of digitized scenes. But the film is shot with sweeping scenes of french countryside and arial combat in mind, so it really looks good on an hdtv.
What I wasn't expecting was the audio. Fox is producing its blu-rays with DTS-HD master audio. I was a little concerned at first, 'cause it's the only multichannel english track on the disk and I thought my ps3 couldn't decode it. However, the ps3 reads it as a standard dts track at a full 1.5 mbps. Not bad since a lot of standard dvd dts tracks are half that rate. And the sound even at this level was just amazing. My 3803 recognized it as a regular DTS track and matrixed it to full 7.1. And I had bullets and ricochets flying around my room and deep bass explosions and flak bursts. It was a very immersive experience.
That said, I've read reviews that a standard dts track and standard dolby is a pale comparison to their full lossless versions. Denon better not push back the release of their new hdmi 1.3 gear. It's gonna be a long wait 'till summer.
