Been awhile since last I posted. I am looking for a pair of 3.1's. If anyone has a pair they are willing to part with, let me know. I am centrally located so almost anywhere is feasible. Thanks.

Still here at the institution. Still happily divorced. How's this for irony; I sold my 1.2's to help finance my Roadrunner project, then I had to sell my 'runner to keep my head above water. Anyway, I at least made a little money on the car so now I am looking to get another pair of SRS's. Not the big boys but hey, I don't have that big of a living room.
How's things on your end? Good to hear from you.

BTW, not REALLY at an institution, yet.

I've owned the 3.1TL's and I've owned the CRS+'s. (both now sold).
I'd recommend the CRS+ over the 3.1TL. The imaging is better.
Yes, you lose a little volume at the VERY HIGH INTENSITY level.
But, you more than make up for it with improved imaging.

How would 150 watts Adcom do with the 3.1TL's ?

Thanks Ben

The 3.1TL's are rated for up to 500 wpc (into 8 ohms).
My experience:
Denon 105 wpc sucked.
Krell 250 wpc rocked.

I wish you would have said something 3 days ago! I would have offered you mine.

No, there was a pair of VMPS towers on the bay that I would have bid on though! So I must wait! The auction is over.

I guess it's the SRS's impact and "big" sonic image that I miss the most. The CRS does image at least as good as my old 1.2's but they just don't hit like an SRS.
