i'd say not to buy... the glass is too thin to reduce resonance, and you're only getting air out of the port... a handful of frequencies would have their volume increased making it seem like a louder enclosure but you'd lose a huge chunk of your frequency range.

If that were an Alpine built enclosure as opposed to just the sub, Id probably buy it. Theyre one of the few brands I feel makes everything well.
