Does anyone know what the crossover point is for the SRT tweeters(sl6501)?
What does the sound quaility compare to?

Thanks Ben

2000 cycles, 12db/oct.

Sounds good.

Cheers,

I wouldn't worry about crossover points so much, what are you concerned about is the bandpass signal of 'SDA' going to the opposite speaker. HF doesn't play much into interaural crosstalk, hence the removal of the SDA tweeters from Polk's speakers. The 'SDA' signal is all under 2000Hz.

Build your speakers to sound good with your driver compliment, beit 2000, or 4500 cycles - the bandpass SDA will fall into play later.

I have studied the crossover designs in many SDA speakers, and have contacted Ken with CS. He has recommended a XO frequency of 2500Hz. I was concerned with the XO with the SRT's do to their 5.25 drivers possibly running higher than the MW650x drivers. Both speakers are going to be tri amped with a GFA-585 running 8 stereo MW6503's, GFA-7500 running 4 MW6502's out of phase for the Dim Array, and 2 more channels running the tweets. I am going to separate the chambers for the dimensional drivers, and stereo drivers. I also plan on being able to send the sub signal to the dim drivers for added bass during HT duty
