Yesterday I upgraded my two front RM 6801 speakers to RM 6901 speakers. I swore I'd never do it but one of the ones I bought was on sale as an "out of box" speaker. Tweeter said they'd used it for demos and lost the box. I now have the RM20BPAK set up.
The guy fired off just that speaker to demo it for me and it sounded "clear + clean" (no crackling or popping) to me, even when he turned up the volume quite a bit. I had no problems with it (or the "in box" one) with the two movies I watched when I got home.
I paid $330.00 for both of them. Did I do good?
BTW, "The Grudge 2" has some real nice(!) surround in it.
