I`m new to Club Polk and I have a question that maybe very basic.
I have a Yamaha receiver and am using Polk Monitor 30`s for front and rears. and monitor cs1 for the center. I am thinking of upgrading the center to a cs2. Would this be a waste of time and money. Would the cs2 be a better timbre match for the 30`s than the cs1 that I presently have?

Welcome to Club Polk!
Switching driver size, as long as you're within the same line, won't ruin your timbrematching to a noticeable extent.
That being said, I don't believe it's a worthwhile switch. Are you disappointed in the CS1?

Agree with Mr. Peterson on this one. What exactly don't you like about the current center? Save your dough and upgrade the fronts.

I`m really not dis-satisfied with the cs1. I just thought the cs2 would improve the dialogue imaging on movies.
