Hi,
It is 12:30 am morning and I was experimenting with my amp past 7 hours. I added nice solid brass spikes and “Herbies” tube dampers.
I have attached couple of pics for you to have look.
The spikes look great, but the two dampers on each tube made a huge improvement in sound quality…………WOW!!........I can’t go to sleep now.
In case you are interested, I have replaced the stock power cord with heavy duty cord while I was fooling around with this incredible amp. The result in sound quality is even better. The sound is bolder and my room filled with soft and silky more powerful music. If I have to compare it to the sound with the stock power cord the soundstage is more “Open” and all the nuances are crystal clear.
Anyway, I got to go to sleep.

What are tube dampers? I see them in the pic, but don't know how it improves performance.
The spikes look very cool.

Cool Gator!!! That amp is a picture of beauty.
I've been toying with the idea of replacing all my aluminum cones and pods with brass from Mapleshade. The problem is brass is so damned expensive right now that it would cost me the price of a really ballsy amp to replace them all.

Yes, I know what you mean. These spikes can get expensive.
