I have read on several of the iPod forums that using the line out via the flat plug-in connector is preferred for sound quality over the headphone out jack if you want to connect your iPod to your system. I want to be able to use my iPod with my tube headphone amp, and with my remote office system. I have looked at a couple of the cables referenced in those forums, and they cost more than my iPod :( Does anyone know of a reasonably priced iPod 80gb line out to stereo RCA cable? Does it exist? Thanks!

I use the mini jack to rca. I personally didnt think it would matter, the cables I use is Audioquest and Monster. Nice cables and they come with the little black pouch for storage which I thought was neat. I'm not sure about the style youre talking about, would love to try it though. Good luck on your find.

Cable like this? I'm not using it. Make an offer and it's yours.
