Y'all,

I spent some of my tax money and landed a MF A5 Int locally. It's easily a 9/10. It's in pristine condition. I personally think the new A5 series of gear is some of the best looking available.

I've had it in my system a couple of weeks now and it just isn't quite what I was looking for. Don't take that to mean that it isn't a fine piece as it most certainly is. At this point, I think I'll get more out of some source enhancements.

It's 250w/channel into 8ohms; 400 into 4. Four inputs plus a MM phono. It also has an HT bypass, record output and a preout. 5-way binding posts of course.

I'm asking what I paid for it and am firm on this. $1600 shipped to you. I'm not looking for any trades at this point, but if you have something unique that I think can help my rig I might think about it.

Thanks for looking.

Beautiful integrated amp. Great deal.

I tried MF 3.5 Integrated which is very detailed and smooth, and A5 is better.

Yeah, I can't believe this is still here. I couldn't find one for less than about $2k around here, so I ended up with the Krell 300i instead, but I still wish I'd held out for the A5.

Wow that is beautiful. I thought those were uglier then the A3.2 I had but from those pictures it looks nicer.

You got that right! New these are about $2,800 plus shipping.

I tried to get my friend Dan to bite on this so I can get his Krell KSA-250. He was indecisive.
