For sale is a Marsh A200S Amplifier in great condition (8.5/10). Price is $575 plus shipping to lower 48.

This is an awesome sounding amplifier – extremely fluid and revealing. It is the best sounding amplifier I’ve ever owned. It reminds me of the tube amp I used to own.

The Marsh A200S Stereo Amplifier pumps out 120 watts per channel. The A200S is designed with a high end circuit with very low-noise FETs. A balanced, complimentary differential input circuit makes the A200S even more linear than other systems. The output stage has two pairs of high current, paralleled, bi-polar power transistors to meet the peak current demands of any speaker system. Dynamic transient sounds come through with full impact and clarity. Servo-controlled, direct-coupled circuitry is used throughout the circuitry for extremely high resolution sound.

Great amp. I don't know what the deal is broham, it seems like the FM is drying up, no one is buying anything anymore (or at least things don't seem to be moving as fast as they did in the past).

I was going to bust him on that as well, but I didn't think it was my place.

Also, do we really only have a 2 days window to sell stuff on the FM these days? At least listings on Audiogon last 30 days, no one here seems to have faith in FM posts after the first 48 hours.

Also, what's the rule of thumb on bumps? Maybe one bump after the first day, then one more bump within the next three days. . . and a final desparation bump one week later. . . with a price concession, bonus item, or free shipping somewhere along the way?

I think were all used to quick sales, I've purchases a few things from the flea market and a couple of them were within 6 hours of the original post.

Agreed.

If the item gets on page 2, then it's tougher to get an item sold. Besides, I'm interested in selling the amp quickly. That's partly why I offer it here for a lower price.

Yeah, I'm getting that impression, too. There have been some real good deals on here lately as well. Maybe next month things will pick up again.

Not retail, its marked 1500 below RETAIL.

Im talking about - if you were to go on the gon or the bay, you would be paying 3-500 MORE!

Too many on here don't know quality when they see it. They only look for WPC for their new SDAs. You can sell Carvers all day long while truly great amps gather dust.

Just my .02.

Nice amp BTW, I just don't have a need at the moment.

I'm not sure about others but it is not lack of interest on my part. If I had the money (or a job) I would have been all over at least 4-6 items in the last two months alone. Hopefully it is just everybody doing their taxes and realizing how much they have spent, deciding they can't spend as frivolously as last year and then change their ways in a few months
