I like sharing positive experiences.

I just picked up this (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833122062). Its a Netgear powerline network adapter. You plug them into your power outlets to create a network bridge.

Anyways. It worked right away. I installed the software, plugged them in, attached my router and my PC, and I am up and running.

The speed has clearly slowed on the attached computer. I tested the DL rate at 708kb/s. Its still sufficiently fast, but I can tell a clear difference in speeds.

Anyways, I am very happy with it. 9 out of 10.

Hello

I'm using these also, on my xbox 360 in the gaming room. Have had great luck with them also.....

Shizelbs,

All the comments seem to address a longevity problem. Seems they will work beautiful for 2-3 months and then stop working. Be sure to hit this thread in that timeframe to give us an update.
