I am now the proud owner of a pair of Polk R15 bookshelf speakers. I have a Technics SA-DX750 reciever, cables, and a Mintek dvd-1600 laying around here collecting dust. I would sell them, but probably couldnt sell this for more then 40 bucks all together.
I went out to CC and was suprised to see the Polk R15s on sale for $39.00 each. I quickly snagged a pair, took them home, and currently have them running on the computer.
I must say, for the price, I dont think you can get much better. Though they sound rather boxed in and shallow compared to my 2000p's, they dont have much distortion at all, and have incredible bass for their size. Light-weight and well constructed, these speakers tend to fit the application I have for them just fine.
