View Full Version : Changing tweeters in a SRS2 speaker??

What all needs to be done to change out the tweeters to RD0194. Do they solder on? Anything to watch out for?

unscrew from cabinet,, KEEP the gasket,,,blue/black = + (IIRC), insert into cabinet,, ,,do not overtighten screws,,,turn amp back on,, and you are done. :)

takes less than 5 minutes to do. so easy.. even I could do it. ;)

The SL2000.

At least those are the tweeters that are in my 2Bs currently, with the 0194's being the new upgrade.

I am actually trying to figure out what it is comparable to more so than what it directly replaces.

Specifically how does the RDO 0194 match the tweeter in my CSi5?

yep the red terminal is positive on the rdo194-1
