Got my LCi65i's in the walls. They sound great, but I am still waiting on the LSi15's to show up. Got the center and the surrounds, just not the "crown jewels" of the setup. Thought I would post a pic or three! They definately need painted, but I needed to hear and see them in the walls first!

Don't mind the component and DVD shelving in the pics, they are still under renovation. Got some wall repair to do still where the FXi30 was before. My room is narrow enough that walking past the FXi30 was dangerous. I couldn't get it even with the front row either, which is where 99% of our viewing takes place. This should be better overall, and I am extremely happy with the sound.

Sweet! I just bought a pair of LC65i's a few weeks ago and haven't had a chance to install them yet due to pesky business trips. What speaker wire did you use for these?

Eric, the grills might have to wait to go on until everything gets painted. I am painting the trim in the room black, so as to eliminate all that white I still have in the room.

I wish you guys made a grill for these out of the same speaker cloth as the grills on the LSi's, with the same logo. I think that would look fantastic.

Is there a way to get the polk logo from the grills on teh LSi's or Rti's that I could attach to the grills on the LC65i's?

120" screen in a room that is about 15 long by 14 wide. The projector is a 720p DLP Optoma, with an HD DVR and PS3 for Blu-Ray. HD looks great at that size, many DVD's are great too. At that size, it is more about the experience than it is a perfect visual presentation. We love it!

Oh, the speaker wire is 16 guage 4 conductor wire, CL3 rated in wall stuff.

Looks great.

Flip the rear speakers upside down, the tweets will be about level with the side surrounds.

Cheers,
Russ

Very nice! Love them Polk in-walls.

I'd never get through a movie in them chairs...they look way too comfortable.

They look uncomfortable, but they definitely don't feel uncomfortable :) I've sat in them (chair like that, not those specific chairs) and even though they looked like a dentist chair, they were really nice.

Unless I misunderstood him, I thought he meant that they looked so comfortable he'd be asleep before the movie ended (thats what I thought).

I actually reread what he wrote before I completely understood him, too! :o

The seats are Coaster Showtimes, and generally well regarded over at the AVS Forums for a good budget theater seat. They are comfortable, but for one thing. The footrests kinda let my feet dangle too low, they don't go very high. That bugs me. The Berklines raise your feet lots higher, but I paid for all 4 what one berkline chair costs, so I can't complain too loudly. The couch on the back row though, that one IMMEDIATELY induces sleep!:p

I finally got my LC65I's installed yesterday. They sound pretty awesome. I tried them out with Casino Royale, FF Tokyo Drift, and finally Episode III. What are the best surround sound movies for demo's?
