to me that seems like a fair price. top of the line RTA 15 TL's. a lot of people like their RTA's.

Go steal them. At that price it's a no brainer. If you don't like them you'll get your money back and then some.

They have been described by some as having muddy bass and I have to somewhat agree. Their soundstage is deep which I really enjoy. Decato has addressed some modifications here (http://www.polkaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?t=48075).
