About the last thing I need for my media room is a screen. I have had several recommendations to install a Stewart Filmscreen Firehawk G3. I look at a ton of other screens and Stewart is by far more expensive. Is it really that much better? I am running a 1080P Mitsubishi HC5000 with a 10:000 to 1 contrast.

Go for the cheaper Carada Criterion in Brilliant White. I was tempted to buy the firehawk also but from the reviews I read the Carada is just as good. My soon to arrive PJ is the JVC DLA HD1. If I find the review I will post up

I went with the GrayWolf II 106" for better blacks.

I didnt need a grey screen since I can completely control light and the JVC is able to provide those deep blacks. Nice screen you have though. Here is a review of the Carada

I never heard of Carada but they seem well respected. I am going to consider it. Please post after you receive yours.

I checked it out and for the price difference, I am avoiding the Stewart. I figure I save 1800 bucks by ordering the Carada which is highly rated. I am a little nervous but just have to curtail my spending on this project! Thanks for the advice I hope it works out!:o
