How come a while back you guys tell me its ok if I dont have my reciept to send them back anyways. But now that I got my subs back it says on the note included that future echange WILL require a receipt? say they did blow again, will they give me new subs if I sent them in w/o the reciept anyways?
With any item that you purchase you receive a receipt. This shows
that you are the owner of this item and will validate your warranty.
We do require a receipt for any driver, tweeter, or crossover exchanges. This is standard company policy. I do not know of any other company in the industry that has a
better, more forgiving warranty department than ours. If you need a copy of your receipt I am sure that your dealer will be glad to reprint a copy for you.
Thanks,
Kim

curiosity ----
Kim...
First let me say I agree with your above post... no receipt no warranty.
however, lets say I buy something (which I have, not the majority of things, but a few) off of ebay -- and its brand new in the box, and I mail in my polk audio warranty card, and I keep a print out of the auction page as well as of my postal money order payment to person XYZ... is that good enough for warranty through polk? or does it have to be purchased from a registered polk dealer?
Unforunately buying a product from a auction or Ebay will not give you a warranty. These items are usually second hand products, or they are being sold through these channels by a unauthorized dealer. These folks are not an authorized to sell Polk Audio products. To obtain a warranty, the item must be purchased from a Polk Audio authorized dealer. If you need some assistance in locating a dealer, give us a call at 800-377-7655 between the hours of 9 AM to 6 PM Eastern time.
Thanks,
Kim
