Listed as SDA-SRS but pics show 1.2TL boxes and the Bass Brace. I assume they are 1.2TL's as states has SL3000 tweeters. Interconnect cable, floor spikes, manual, bass brace and boxes appear to be included as in pics.
Listed 4 hours ago, in Jacksonville, Florida. Opening bid $1,400. No bids yet. No buy it now price. Says they have a few dings and need recovering, though no tears in grills.
Edit: Received reply from seller whom states the manual and box that came with them say 1.2TL and he is the original owner. No chips or cracks on cabinets but grills could use recovering.

Is $1400 a good price for these. I know these are good speakers, but I am not an expert. What is the going price for a pair of SDA 1.2TL speakers.

The seller's feedback is active over the past three months. He listed his phone number in the questions area and says it's ok to come see them. Looks ok to me.

I don't like the way he says "BUT SOMEONE WILL SOON TRUST MY FEEDBACK AND GET THESE BEAUTIES"
I dont like his feedback, he has 3 negs. Everybody knows somebody these days who owns a digital camera. He can borrow somebody's camera and put some pics up.
I wouldnt bid without any pics.
Plus he YELLS too much, it's very rude!

Hey Acme,
Welcome to the Forum, I paid $1258 for mine and they were 50 miles away. I had to pay $186 for a U-Haul truck to go pick them up but they were in rough shape. All of the speaker grilles were shot and there was some dings and sratches in the wood.
3 to 4 Tweeters were bad in the right speaker. 4 of the 6.5" drivers were a little beat-up too. But I don't care, I wanted a pair of these since I was 17 years old.
I bought 8 new RDO0198's (tweeters) & 4 new 6.5's from Polk for around $576.00
Right now I am refinishing all the wood and grille materials. In June I am going to redo the crossovers and in total with the crossover upgrades I will have spent around $2700.00
Is it worth it?, HELL YES!!!!, I will have a 19 year old speaker with almost all new drivers and all new crossovers with new grilles and newly re-done wood.
A Mint pair went for sale on eBay around 4 weeks ago for $2500.00.
But even though they were mint they did not have the latest tweeters, they hade the original SL3000 tweeters and they did not have any crossover upgrades.
So, All in All, when I am done, I think I did very well!
So, basically you can get these between $1250 to $2500, but to upgrade them to 2007 specs you will need to spend around $1100.00 (for new Tweeters and Crossover components)

Sal, if you dig a little deeper into his feedback, you'll realize that 2 of the 3 negs are complete BS and were from the same person, although using different ID's. They registered on the same day in 2003, but have only one feedback each, a neg from this seller in response to theirs.
The seller has posted his phone number, has offered to have them inspected before the end of the auction and will allow pick up after. I don't see this as any sort of scam. Of course, he'd probably get more bids and therefore more money if he posted pics.

I just think that it is very strange to try and sell something for $1500+ and n ot to show and pics.
I just sold a knife for $1000.00 that I paid $500 for 3 years ago. Without pictures maybe I would have gotten 40 bucks.

Maybe I need a new drug. The drivers and xo plate look excellent. White outgassing on the cones can usually be removed with windex sprayed on a q-tip and some gentle wipes.

I'm thinking the same thing as well,,I thought the drivers looked decent enough.

WAY better than average. I'd give my left nutsack for the condition those xo plates are in. So many of these came in one-off colors it's sick.

I'm talking about the wrinkles on the center caps, those happen from people pushing in the center cap and then pulling it back out with tape or something similar.
You will never get those wrinkles out. Windex will make the tacky parts shine again but those center caps will always be wrinkled.
That's $48 for each one that wrinkled.

Left?, you have a right & Left sack?
I have to agree with you, the XO panels are very nice in color.
I'm researching a few places that can take mine and resurface them in BLACK. and then I will have decalls made up. I'm trying to decide if I want to do it.

No need to change a driver for having a wrinckled dust cup. Thos drivers look VERY good.

Well, I had 3 on my 1.2's that were wrinkled, I bought replacement drivers from Polk. But the replacement drivers are slighty diffrent than the originals, So I am stealing 4 MW6511's from my mint condition 1C's and putting the replacements in the 1C's.
So now I will have 16 drivers in my 1.2's that have perfect center caps.

Some can throw a shit stick in water and walk away. I'm with you Sal. Naked 6.5" black drivers spank me every night. ;)

There once was one that sat on a peach;
and one day some SDA's came within reach;
he called out to all Polkie's within reach;
but they were already listening at the beach.

And once they came back from the beach;
They wanted a peach;
But as they got close enough to reach they realized they reeked!

I don't see anything really wrong with those caps except for the white stuff , which as Steve stated, comes off with Windex. I'm with Russ, chill out on this guy.
