Im currently using the toshiba A1 HD DVDp, I was wondering if any members went from the 1st gen players to the new 2nd gen players and noticed better results in playback. You can get the XA2 for around 500 bucks now, so I was wondering if the upgrade is worth it. Any takes on that?

Edit: I have not experienced a single glitch with my A1 by the way just wondering if I will see improvement with the new 2nd gen player.

I've read that that XA2 outputs at 1080p (I belive the first gen only output at 1080i atleast thats what my A-1 does) if that makes any difference. Also that it is one of the best upconverting SD-DVD players you can buy at any price. I would say if I had the extra change laying around I would atleast give it a try and if you didn't see any improvement send it back. Just my 2 cents.
