i just put an accom order in for a 12" SR DVC. i currently am running a kicker 700.5 amp. the 5th ch. is 420X1 but is actually tested around 500 i guess.
what size sealed box would you recomend with this amount of power?

and if i went with the ported 2.20 cubes. how different would it sound? i heard somewhere that the SR subs are really meant for sealed boxes.

Theyll work in either but sealed boxes are better for sounding good. Ported boxes are better for being loud.
