Does anybody know how much a pair of Polk Monitor Series 5 Speakers are worth? They are still in great shape. There is a small area of damage to the corner of one of the cabinets (Slightly crushed in). Otherwise they are in good shape and sound great.

They will astound your with natural accurate performance requiring not much power. If they are in good shape and local $125 would be a good price if they have the passive radiator. If they have the black tweeter dome they are better than the ones with the silver/clear dome. Get them. I will also have to warn you this will probably end up being a journey into getting bigger, and better vintage speakers. Not saying the 5's are bad. They are actually incredible good sounding speakers that can't be had nowadays for anywhere near their price.
Enjoy

As much as someone is willing to pay, and not a penny more.
Good luck with your sale.

They are sweet speakers. You should be able to get them for around a $100.

Audiogon blue book shows 5s and 5a's going for about $80 and 5b's going for $120. I've just paid $75 for a pair of 5jr's and $88 for 5 jr+'s. I got mint 5's from ebay for about $120 a year or so ago. Not sure of submodel.
