Not the biggest news, but the 5 jr+'s I got off ebay arrived, and they are mint. Very nice sound in a small box. The passive radiator really helps the low end compared to the 5 jr. For now, I am experimenting with them as a center channel in HT wired parallel. I tried one alone, and am now trying both. Someone mentioned an imaging problem with the pair, but since this is basically a mono sound, that doesn't seem like an issue?? They are on the floor and I need wedges for them....don't really want them on stands in the air. I have them on sides tweeter to tweeter. I'll let you know if this turns out to have been one bad idea. The wife is home sick, so I ain't cracking anything yet.

p.s. everyone seems to want to pack in bubble wrap, which doesn't seem to me to be nearly as safe as a layer of styrofoam around the equipment with peanuts as well.

When I sell stereo equipment I put the item in a large black garbage bag, then I cover it with 1" stryofoam and I tape that with duct tape, then I box it snug and then put that box in another box with at least 3" of peanuts all around. Never had an issue yet ;)

Congrats on the 5Jr+'s, Very nice speakers!!!

Side by side, one forward the other pointing up, or one bellow and one above. I am useing the 2nd for mine because of the 106" screen

peanuts, the styrofoam kind aren't good for shipping speakers/electronics.. the firm styrofoam panels are good though.

That is the truest statement I have heard.
