Hello,
It would be best to disconnect the red wire and the black wire from the woofer, box the amplifier up and send it to: Polk Audio, 2550 Britannia Blvd., Suite A, San Diego, CA. 92154. Please include a short note giving us your name, address, daytime telephone number and a copy of your sales receipt.
Regards, Ken

i dont have the reciept anymore. i bought it about 4 years ago from circuit city. what does it cost for a diagnosis? it may be cheaper to just buy a new amp?

Polk Audio has the best Customer service around. The best I have ever dealt with. If the unit is dead just send it in. They take very good care of their customers. Ken is the man at Polk. I would be completely surprised if you weren't satisfied with the service. They will take care of you. Any doubts ask for Ken when you call Polk CS.
