Information about Alpine Type X Mid-Bass

Thinking about purchasing a set of Alpine Type X 6.5" mid-bass kit to put in back of my Saturn station wagon's rear hatch door. Just wondering if anybody has any experience with these or knows what they sound like.

Last year's sound OK, soon to be replaced by "Type X Pro". Made by Vifa (a good thing). They're not the lowest extending midbass speaker around, should probably be crossed over around 100hz to avoid breakup in the midbass response.
