Hey guys, if you are interested in improving your sub's performance by giving you a tighter and more seamless signature, you may want to check this out. One of my fellow engineers at work is into serious audiophile equipment...way out of my price range, but he recommended this site: http://www.goldensound.com/

These dh cones are really supposed to help your sub hit more accurately in efforts to eliminate standing wave in your HT room by elevating/isolating the sub from the main front channels. In fact he uses different sizes of these cones under all of his speakers and says the soundstage precision is greatly enhanced. I am planning on ordering the super size for my sub and jumbos for my 150s. Just letting you guys on a relatively inexpensive tweak that can possibly add new dimensions to whatever setup you may be running.

I've been using Black Diamond Racing cones, with a lot of success. Forget your sub, put them under your source and pre/pro - instant, noticeable difference.

Cheers,
Russ

I have tried different feet under my sub, only thing that made a noticeable difference was a Auralex Gramma. Well that and adding weight on top of the sub.

Under components I personally use vibrapods, never really tried anything else.

P.S. I like the soundstage enhancers for $2400 over the tweeters. They improve acoustics by increasing a specific frequency, and that somehow changes the specifications of your speakers???
