This is my sub's room response before and after eq'ing with a Behringer BFD, using the REW software to determine the filterset(s). Not bad!!! Impressive little $100 piece of electronics and the free REW software's ability to directly download filters is really sweet. Not much I can do about the hump at 17Hz with electronics as the BFD filters only extend down to 20Hz, same with the onboard PEQ on my subs. Still, what a dramatic improvement, in both graph and sound.

very nice! Room EQ wizard paired with a BFD is a very nice tweek on the cheep.

I wish mine came out like that. My old house has too many resonating peices that screw up the measurements. I should break out Room EQ Wizard again and give it another try.

You can take down that 17hz hump, you just have to use a 20 hz filter with a wide band.

A hump at 17hz....awwww poor baby. Thats terrible to have a hump where you want it.

I would trade my hump @ 35hz for a hump @17hz anyday.:p :D

Looks like room gain...I'm sure you've played with placement, but looks like corner reinforcement...maybe just a few inches.
