Which receiver?

Hi everyone, I'm looking for a receiver to set up my theater...5.1
My Front speakers are Polks R50s, my center is a Polk CSi3, my surround are the Polks RTi4s and my sub is a Velodyne DPS-12.

I know that the receiver is the heart of the home theater, but I don't have a lot of money left to buy a receiver that costs 1000 dolars.
I'm in doubt between the Pioneer VSX-1016TXV and the yamaha HTR6060. What would you pick, feel free to suggest another one.

I would check out the Onkyo, HK and Denon offerings. Pioneers is not bad but for the money you should be able to get one of the other brands I mentioned. I am not a Yammi fan. Are you looking at BestBuy? Try Circiut City or the Flea Market.

I'd select the Yamaha 5240 that someone has for sale on the Flea Market. But that is just one guy's opinion.
