This morning I ordered the Matrix Trilogy on HD-DVD of $19.99. I guess Circuit City screwed up the pricing on this set so I took advantage of the situation. Once I placed the order, received the e-mail confirmation I went back to CC website to post the link for you guys/gals and CC had updated the price to $79.99. Since the order was placed with an e-mail confirmation, does CC have to hold to the price I paid for it? If so, I think I just lucked out.

I can remember reading threads here and elsewhere of email-confirmed orders being canceled because of price mistakes, so don't get your hopes up.

Yeah, that's what I figured but what the hell, gave it a shot.

Some people over at AVS are saying that if used the express shipping there is a chance that the order might have gotten through the system before the mistake was found, if not it will probably get canceled. I hate I missed out if it goes through. I like the Matrix movies but not enough to spend another $80 on them, but at $19 I would have been all over that. Good Luck!

Thats the one thing I did do, I DID get the express shipping so hopefully all is well. Only time will tell. I'll keep you guys posted.

It appears that the cheapest (legit) price is about $63 with Amazon, which is not bad. Hope you guys get 'em at that price, and I'll be willing to buy it off you for $30, a solid 33% profit margin for you! ;)

Honestly, they could ask quite a bit more for it and I would still get it. To me, its one of the best movies ever, story, characters, theme, graphics, visuals, audio, everything. I'll probably end up getting the version with the Animatrix included.

I am waiting for HTF review, usually they are dead on with their review and ratings. Yes, it is a great series, and it would look great on HD.

I just got an e-mail saying mine shipped Friday and they charged my credit card a whoppin' $19.99. Not sure if they are honoring everyone who got in at that price, but hopefully they will.

Yep, got mine last week. I already had the Ultimate from Amazon though, so I sold it to a friend for the same price to turn him to the Dark Side. :D

Complete Trilogy on HD-DVD for $19.99, AWESOME deal guys!

I would pay $20 just for the first on. Maybe another $10 for the second. And, would probably pay $5 to not watch the third one ever again.

Great catch, I'd buy for that and chuck the two sequels in the trash. I'd love the get the first one but because it's only being sold as a set I'm out. No way will I drop any coin on 2 & 3.
