Hi,

I was at the post office today and saw someone had a Sansui Au-7900 in good working condition for sale (Looked great). They were only asking $50 for it, I'm more concerned about the space it takes up then the cost. Would this thing be any benefit to me? Hopefully my setup will show in my Signature. I am thinking about purchasing the Outlaw 990/7700 combo sometime, just have to convince myself a little more.:o
Can I biamp the RTI12's with the Sansui and Pioneer or just use the Sansui? I am not sure what to do? but I'm sure alot of you will have good oppinions on this. The advertisement said that this thing was 495 watts?????? is this the power consumption or is this just a random number that was made up and put on the advertisement.

Thanks,

FX4Newfie

Welcome FX. You might want to re-think this since the specs that Polkatease posted says that it puts out 75wpc NOT 495wpc!

It is a nice, and good sounding, vintage solid state ampliffier. The 495W figure sounds entirely fantastic; not even the "from the wall" power consumption of that amp would've been that high.
