I havnt actually heard the CD, just a few songs...

But why has this band with a good mixture of rock, rap, pop gone the way of EMO BS...

Ahhhhh... just curious if anyone has bought this CD and actually likes it.

Just listened to it, seemed like mostly "soft rock". :(

There's a couple of good songs on there. (Given up) (Bleed it out) are the only two I really like. The album is weak compared to there past albums. Very Disappointed with linkin park this time around.

OKay first of all I have listened to the whole album so I guess I can qualify as to give it a real review as to a half one. (No hard feelings there Sid)

First off I like LP, always have. They are one of the few main-stream bands that I like. That being said this CD was a huge disappointment. I still am having a hard time trying to figure out why they went this way. I mean this sounds like Mike Shinoda's Fort Minor. Which is not a bad thing, but wow it is just a really mellow disk.

I mean where they trying to tell us that they matured? Or were they just going into an entirely different direction and yet failed at it? If they did the latter I would most definitely respect them for that. At least they had the balls to try it.

Sometimes great bands have CD's like this. And it will either tear them apart, or it makes them stronger and usually they come back with an Epic CD. (See Dream Theater's Falling into Infinity to Scene's from a Memory)

It's decent. It's not really a cd that stands out in my collection, but I've bought worse. Definitely not an improvement from their earlier stuff.

I've heard a couple of songs and they don't do much for me, but I'm not a techno-rock listener in the first place.

I second this statement.
