went to a local shop that sells yamaha and I must say they sounded pretty good even in comparison to the paradigm studio series I heard

I've heard from CP member Spacedeckman (Yami Rep) that some of the higher end Yamaha speakers are pretty respectable. I just don't know of any place to listen to them.

They are pretty lightweight for a tower speaker. If my converter was right they only weigh a little over 29lbs.

The LSI 9's weigh in @ 33lbs, & the 15's weigh in at 66lbs.
The RTI 8's are around 50lbs

Heck my old RTA-8's weigh in at 39lbs.
