Can I Amp My Components Using An Amp Without A High Pass Filter?????????????

I have a set of Polk Momo MMC6500 components. I want to use a 2 channel amp that I have already, but someone told me that it may not sound good because the amp doesnt have a high pass filter..... but isnt that what the crossover is for??

Total bunk.

The MMC6500's come with a set of passive crossovers designed specifically for the MMC6500's. Simply hook the amp up to these and youll be set.

Guy probably meant that they wont sound good running them in full range off the amp. If you do not have a sub, don't worry about it. I have run my components full range plenty of times when I took out my sub.
