What protection for new TVs?

Have LCD and plasma TV's. What protection is best between the power plug on the TV and the wall?

Monster 7000 MKII or SS. Check audiogon, I seen them going for around 500-700 over there. You can find some cheaper models, but the 7000 is a larger unit, and should be able to run any decent HT setup on the 12 available outlets.

I use an APC SUA1500 Smart-UPS. It has built-in power conditioning, unlike many consumer/home UPS units that actually put out "dirty" power.

Works fine for my TV.
