Denon 2900 Owners--Problems Reading CD's?

My Denon 2900 is getting really temperamental and won't read many of my CD's--I'd say about 1 out of 5 get the "No Play" display. Anybody else have any problems? Any solutions?

Probably a weak laser. If your a DIY'er, the part is about $95+shipping, which I believe is a whole new transport.

Edit: I have an e-copy of the 2900 service manual if you need any part#s etc or need to see blowup diagrams.
