OK now that I got your attention what the HELL is this? Was dug up by my brother about 20+ years ago not sure why its still around but what is it or why the heck would anyone go to the effort to make it? Its just a stamped piece of aluminum. I cant see what else it could say

It's a penny arcade piece. You could stamp anything you wanted (up to a character limit) and make a dog tag style charm. See the chain divot in the punched-out area.

Keep digging in the same place, you may find Joe if Mason took exception to the notoriety. ;)
