I received a huge hammock and special pillow for it from L. L. Bean. We are going to place it between two poles out back in the shade.

BTW the pillow is monogramed with, "Big Joe's."

This was a very well thought out gift by my wife.:D

I asked for a 3 dvd set on coaching soccer, but I have a feeling were paying for a refrigerator repairman instead.

My wife is great cook, I'm sure I'll be well fed and cared for today.

The girls and I were garage saling last weekend, and when we came upon a garage sale with this Yamaha dirt bike for sale, my kids said "Dad, you need a dirt bike for the farm". That was all it took  It's a 2003 Yamaha TTR-225. Needs a little fixing on a few things, but overall in good condition and pretty well taken care of. It's the dirt bike for us people with short legs :D

About two more weeks before I'll be a father, and that's all I want. No gifts yet, but in a few weeks I'm sure there will be plenty "gifts" (dirty diapers, yeah).

Good luck....I don't even have kids but seeing the yellow mustard my niece and nephew left behind for monthes was enough. Enjoy!

I got to spend the day with my son! Father's Day is always special with him as we brought him home from the hospital 10 years ago on Father's Day. From my stepson and his mom I got The Police - Message In A Box. Although they're in Wisconsin for the week, I listened to it this morning and thought about them. :)

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA you mean you couldn't handle anything else!!!

I have sons, thank God. God knew that if I had daughters I would be in jail for assault when they started puberty that is why he gave me sons. A friend of mine has two absolutely beautiful daughters who blossomed early. . . he went prematurely bald and had a small nervous breakdown when the horney little 13 year old boys started knocking on his door every night!!!

Yesterday, I was treated to an Outback (EDIT: make that Longhorn) 22-ounce porterhouse, 25 ounce Sam Adams, baked potato and Fritz's Turtle afterward.

Today, had a Sunday brunch at the daughter and SIL's, with a Bubba-gram and Jimi Hendrix CD. Force fed grapes by the grandson while waiting for breakfast (a ploy he used to steal my watch .... again !).

All in all pretty darn nice. :D

I took my dad and brother (who's also a dad) golfing. I am not very good, my brother has never played before... so it was an interesting day to say the least.

Fun times though. Happy father's day to all you dads out there.

I got a call from dad saying that grandfather died today (of all the days). If you have a grandparent out there, make sure you let them know that they're special.

I got to spend all day with my wife and kids and we went sailing. The first time all 4 of us have done that. We then went to my parents house and had dinner with both my bothers, sister, sister in law, 2 nieces and grandmother. Very nice get together and my parents love having us all together.

A buddy and I surprised our fathers today with a weekend get away, next weekend, for the 4 of us at my buddies house on the Wye River. Saturday we are going to take a boat over to St. Michaels for a day of boat building and dinner in town. I hope the weather cooperates.

I had a very nice Father's Day. I hope everyone else had great day.

I got $50 bucks cash from my folks :) They always give me fun cash on Father's day... they're the greatest!

My wife gave me something else... :D

My daughters? They are too young to care. Ha. Although my 2.5 year old did manage to say, "Happy Fadder's Day" and my 1 year old managed to say, "Hahdha dfafda dayya." I felt content with that :D

My son got me the new Warren Zevon biography by his ex-wife (EDIT: WZ's ex, that is) Crystal and the new "Preludes" CD of WZ demo tracks. Very cool.

My daughter, who is taking final exams in grad school in the UK this week, was able to Skype with us for a while Sunday and also got me (by proxy, via Mrs. H, online) a very cool tea strainer the likes of which I've not seen before.

A nice day in MA yesterday.
