Does anybody know of banana plugs that are capable of using thick wire? I'm thinking 10 awg or thicker. I'm also thinking about using the kind that can have another set plugged into the back and splitting the strands. Unfortunately this would make for additional connections and would double the expense. Especially if I bi-wire/amp.

Phew! That's good.
Sorry, I misread your "of" as "if."
I've seen it done, but I'm not sure what brand they were etc.
Any pro-audio shop should have them though.

I just got done checking out Parts Express. They've got some that will handle 8 awg @ $7.00 for a set of 4. I guess I shoulda looked around.

Radio Shack has some nice Dual ban. plugs that are also "stackable - wire thru the side, then screw down on it kinda connection. Other than that and a SPL meter, wouldn't advise you shop there ;)
CHEERS ! jefff

They do carry some other decent stuff. I'll probably check out their plugs, but I doubt they'll take 8awg.
