I just got my Polk Atrium 45s and will be installing them outside shortly. My question deals with the fact that I need a receiver with a very small footprint to power them because it will be located on top of my kitchen cabinet.

I found a mini system at Best Buy that has an audio in (needed for Apple Airtunes setup) and powers at 120w (assuming I will get 60w/channel).

Will this be sufficient to power the Atriums for minimal outdoor recreational listening? Thanks!

I'm sure it will be fine. You know you should check out Sonos.

This is where it's at man if you want to send music around your house. Crazy easy to install and setup. I do them all the time and love em.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I chose a slightly cheaper route opting to use iTunes to control everything and using 2 Airport Express modules routed to my 2 receivers.

My plan is almost complete...
