I have a Denon 2307ci RTi12's for the fronts CSi5 for center and FXi5's for surround. I watch all my BD's at about -10db. Sounds good to me but is there a way i could be damaging my speaks since i know for sure i'm not sending enough power to them....aka RTi12's? I have noticed at any listening volume sometimes my CSi5 tweeter gets a little raspy during dialog. This doesnt happen in every movie just in more movies where the actor is yelling. Could this be a reciever problem also. Also 12awg is running to all speakers.

If you mean the volume on the receiver is shown at -10 dB, then this sounds loud, but to each his own. I listen to most movies (concert dvd's) at about
-20 at the receiver, though some are recorded so low, that I listen closer to -10. If your amp is 100 watts per channel, I would think you should be OK. I've run both 70 watts a channel, and now am running Denon 3802 at 110 watts per and have no problem with SQ (70 was a little light and it was a yamaha). I'm sure many here will advise on lots of power.

polk rti seakers in general are alittle bright. The recording will have some to do with the high end tone.
As far as -10db, that's fine if you like it that loud or your room needs it there to achieve a good movie experience.
You can have the volume anywhere you want but if you get over 0 then your asking for trouble. the receiver starts to clip or distort after 0 so your speakers can be damaged.
