Not a biggie for most Polk members in the US or Canada, but in Oz, we are lucky to have any retailer who carries Polk, having any series on display, let alone the LSi's.
Had to go interstate at that (not a single dealer in Sydney :( ), but had a listen anyway. Both salesman and I acknowledged that the speakers were hooked up to an underpowered Rotel 70 watts RMS amp, but I could hear the potential.
The salesman put on a Jennifer Warne CD, with bass and treble set to 0, but the vocals were very smooth and I could see how adding a 200 watt a channel amplifier would really make these things sing. They were in Cherry as well - I originally was going to purchase Ebony, but after seeing the Cherry, I'm sold  .
Anyway, as I say not a biggie for most of you, but very special in Oz to be able to listen to something Polk, in a showroom before buying - all my Polk stuff to date has been purchased unheard and just purchased on reputation.
Ciao for now.
