I might be unloading my Parasound JC-1 monos soon :p :D
Those would have you set for life if you stay within the Solid-State realm. Unfortunately their he-man power output also requires a he-man budget in this case :D

How do they sound? I've heard such diametrically opposed reviews and opinions of them and never did get to hear them myself.

8.02s in silver. They are their lower end model, the most recent revision.

So far so good sound wise, they sound similar to the icepower amps I have listened to. I would say they are a slight step down from the PS-Audio Trio I heard but very similar.

Do they really dig down deep in the bass like reported?

These and the ice amps I have tried both have incredible bass. It seems to go deep, is very quick, and is powerful. I first noticed this trait when comparing the Trio to my Cinenova, and it continues with the Nuforce.

It is difficult to compare the two off memory though as I have had a source change in the few months since I owned the Trio. Still it is amazing that these tiny little amps that are only a few lbs each can outdo my 140lb 300wpc behemoth Cinenova in the bass department.

engtaz, they worked great with my 1.2's. I used an AI-1 transformer and all was right with the world. And no, I do not have the interface amymore.
