It all started with a 56" Samsung DLP, Onkyo TX SR-304, Xbox 360, some cheapo KLH speakers and a Polk PSW10.

Fast foward to today, I have two separate setups:

For 2 ch., I have a McIntosh MX-115 (http://www.roger-russell.com/tunpre.htm#mx115) tuner/preamp, and MC7270 powering a pair of Tannoy Saturn S8's.

Home theater, Onkyo TX-SR674 (http://www.onkyousa.com/model.cfm?m=TX-SR674&class=Receiver&p=i), Infinity TSS-1100 (http://www.soundandvisionmag.com/speakers/739/infinity-tss-1100-home-theater-speaker-system-page2.html)(7 satililites, 2 (mid)subs), and a eD A5-300 (http://www.edesignaudio.com/edv2/product_info.php?cPath=21&products_id=103) sub for the bottom end.

I plan on combining both setups. Due to the lack of space, I'm not entirely sure where I'm going to fit everything, I guess I'll worry about that later. :D

For my mains, I plan on keeping the Tannoy S8's (http://www.hometheatersound.com/equipment/tannoy_saturn.htm). I also picked up a (NIB) Tannoy Saturn S8C(center) about a month ago. Today I picked up a pair of Triad Silver OnWall Surrounds (http://www.triadspeakers.com/products/owssur.html) that were used as display models.

To control everything, I'm considering the soon to be released Onkyo Pro PR-SC885P (http://www.onkyopro.com/model.cfm?m=PR-SC885P&class=Preamplifier&p=i) or Integra DTC-9.8 (http://www.integrahometheater.com/model.cfm?m=DTC-9.8&class=Separates&p=i), whichever one I can get cheaper since they appear to be the same unit.

I'll be using my McIntosh MC7270 (http://www.roger-russell.com/amplif2.htm#mc7270) to drive the mains, a McIntosh MC2105 (http://www.roger-russell.com/amplif1.htm#mc2105)(should have it by Monday) to drive the surrounds, and I'm still looking for a McIntosh MC2100 (http://www.roger-russell.com/amplif1.htm#mc2100)(just missed a few on ebay and the gon) to drive the center.

As for a sub, I plan on keeping the eD A5-300 because it kicks ass with nice clean bass. :D

As for interconnects and cables, I currently have a mix of Goertz and SignalCable. Monoprice for digital cables.

For now, I'm using either the 360's or PS2's CD player for CD playback, and I use my PC as a MP3 server. I plan on picking up a nice CD player soon though. I've also been thinking about picking up a tube buffer if I come across one cheap.

I hope to have the best of both worlds in one setup/room. Feel free to critique.

What does someone have to mention power cords to get any feedback around here? :D

Thanks, I'm jealous of your setup also.

Really what I'm asking here is, am I going to ruin my 2 channel listening by running everything through this pre even though it has a direct mode?

Wow, nice set up. You need to tell me how to turn a pen into an amp :)

I won that from a contest on AudioKarma. :D

I tested some paint samples on the wall by the rest of my gear, so once I paint the room I'll take some more pics.

As for the floor, I know it's terrible. Can't decide if I want a carpet or nice hardwood floor.
