Seems we have a little feud going on here.

Don't know if I should call it a feud but, here's the basic story.

Mark Schifter from AV123 and Outlaw combined to make a trade in deal for owners of Emotiva's LMC-1
see here;

and here;;

Dan Laufman from Emotiva has responded to that offer herehere;

I own the LMC-1, quirks and all, and will not be parting with it until the LMC-2 is released.

I never even considered the outlaw offer and had always planned on getting the LMC-2, Dan's offer just means I'll buy it sooner.

As far as I know Emotiva brand was originally sold at AV123, then went out on its' own.

Dan Laufman and Mark Schifter were/are? friends.

That man is one biggest hearted guys I have ever seen on a forum let alone in the positions he is in. Hats off.

I have a lot of respect for Mark Schifter! A defective expensive product was put out & he is stepping up to the plate to try & make things right since he once had a say in what went on in that company.

He is doing what Dan should have done & is only now doing because of Mark's offer.

Good luck Brijenjas, you just better pray the the LMC-2 isn't as buggy as the first, providing you aren't an old man by the time it is released!

It was actually an inexpensive product as far as pre/pros go.

And I will agree that MLS is very customer oriented, and has great customer support.

I agree with the fact that Dan is doing this in response to the offer from Outlaw/MLS. but he is doing it, even though he didn't have to.

As far as the LMC2 being buggy, it may or not be.
I have confidence they will learn from their mistakes.

And I'm already an old man.;) Let's hope I'm not dead.

Let's not forget that Emotiva offers two other higher end processors that are bug free AFAIK, even though I believe one is a copy of a Sunfire processor.
