Is adding funds to the PS3 wallet with a credit card considered a cash advance?

I don't own a PS3 but it shouldn't be. The only time anything is considered a cash advanced is if you're receiving cash through your transaction but you don't receive any cash when you add funds to the PS3.

Thanks a lot Kris, makes sense when you put it that way.

Whenever I have bought anything I just paid the price of the title unless they have changed things. I like that system a lot better then buying MS points on the 360 then having 20 useless points sitting there.

If you want to add a bunch of points to your account then it is the same as marketplace, which is kind of like a cash advance.
Or you can just withdraw points as needed during checkout. I agree it is better than Xbox's points system, since you never have 15points with nothing to spend them on but worthless wallpapers.
