Well the bars are closed, the daughter is asleep , and I have the last post on every Forum. Not that it matters, but you aren't getting past me. I was sober when everybody else was drunk and now I'm drunk when everybody else is asleep. Gosh I hat working a swing shift.

Either way I'll be awake. Post what you want. I'll go get my learn on at other resources and come back and call you a turd after all your posts when you're snug as a bug.
This is kinda fun, but come to think about it.... It's time to look for a cheap tube amp! I'll be back though.

The sad part is that I'd been 'watching' this one and was trying to figure out how much / which replacement tubes would be.

The guy doesn't specify that it has inputs, but I'm pretty sure it does. If not, I'm pretty sure I can sell the speakers to cover my tech's cost of adding a pair.

A good Tube Amp is pretty pricey, even on the Vintage Market!
If you have a SS Amp, a suggestion would be to find a reasonably priced Tube Pre (Dynaco?), or a Tube Receiver.
The latter seems to be a well kept secret, as current Ebay prices seem to reflect.
I recently acquired a Kenwood KW1100U from the Thrift Store for $20, with all Tubes n Electronics workin! (Did need a good cleaning, though)
I use it with a Carrera LT-120 TT (Linear Tracking) and Vinyl, and it sounds surprisingly Good.

Ray - Good snag on that Kenwood. I'm leaning towards a little 5w SET. I've heard a few SS/tube combos. I liked the sound of the tube amps more than tube pre/SS amp configurations. It would make things much easier. It depends on E-bay right now.
