I'm looking for a used amp to drive my RTi10s and CSi5 center. It's a bit overwhelming when looking at Audiogon and eBay, so many different brands and models. From reading here on the Polk boards I'm seeing a lot of recommendations for Adcom, Outlaw, and a few others.

I'm wondering if anyone can give me specific model recommendations for amps they are familiar with that might be suitable for me. I think I'd like something 150+ wpc, either 3 or 5 channels, or something similar to Outlaw 2200 monoblocks. I'm hoping to keep the price below $700.

I haven't heard any of them, but going by brand name, I'd recommend the Classe. I used to have a Rotel RB-991 and was happy with it.

Thanks, Chris, for the suggestions. I'm going to take a detailed look at all of those and see what I can find in way of reviews, etc.

I have an Adcom 5503 (3x200 wpc 8 ohm) powering our mains and center...quite happy with it...can usually be had used for 600-700.

I have a B&K ST-1430. 125 WPC 8 ohms. Really like it. I really like all B&K gear. For more power, they have a 200.3, but that would be pressing your budget.

$350 - $450 used for the 1430.

The Adcom 5503 had been looking really good to me but I haven't had any luck finding one used. There was a guy on here a few weeks ago that mentioned that he had one for sale. I emailed him twice but never heard back. Haven't seen any others here, on eBay, or Audiogon.
