I have one and like it a lot. Looks awesome, and I'm sure it does something useful as well.

Just a little unasked for advice. . . if you already have the Denon 3910 for audio, I would think you could resell the PE 46avi on Agon or similar for $150. . . then pay another $50 - $100 and get an HD-A2 with 5 free movies.

HD-DVD is great, and while it may die in the coming years, it equals the 46avi in terms of upconverting and hardly costs any more.

Good snag on the 5100 SS.

When I upgraded from the HTS1000 to the HTS5100, there was a very definitive improvement in picture quality on my LCD.
