I would rather sell it than have it sit under a sheet for God knows how long. :(

Samsung serviced it and replaced the light engine with a new one and I have had no problems since. I have an extended 3 year warranty on it with Brandsmart as well. - an added value. Local Pick Up Only in Miami Florida $1000.00

To those that are thinking about this TV:

I have this exact same model. It throws a gorgeous image. Next-gen video games look incredible, use a nice DVD player like a Denon 2900 with this TV and you have near HD quality movies. Really, its insanely good. The thing that continues to wow me daily is the vibrancy of the colors.

The price offfered is exceptionally good as well. This is a no brainer.

I don't know. Alls I know is that my old 2900 looked really, really good on the Samsung. I've played regular DVDs on my BluRay player that upconverts and it doesn't look nearly as good.

If I was local, I'd pick it up in a heartbeat. I have the HL-R model (61" too) in living room and I need a bedroom set (although I was thinking getting something smaller).

It's a great TV for great price, someone get it ASAP!
